  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
  • Unit Type: Inpatient rehabilitation / med-surg rehab
  • Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:7
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience, with acute care experience preferred
  • Inpatient rehabilitation, med-surg, or similar clinical experience strongly preferred
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate care in a dynamic rehabilitation nursing environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
  • Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and respond appropriately to changes in status
  • Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and clinical guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support recovery goals
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Support patients recovering from stroke, amputation, major surgeries, and other complex conditions
  • Promote a safe, encouraging, and healing environment for every patient
