Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab / Med/Surg

Location: Birmingham, AL

Shift: 3x12 Nights

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1,585.64 – $1,865.46 / week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rehab / Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will provide specialized care for inpatient spinal cord rehabilitation (SCIP-PM) and med/surg patients within a premier medical facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality direct nursing care to inpatient spinal cord rehabilitation and med/surg patients.
• Assess patient needs, develop individual care plans, and monitor progress toward rehabilitation goals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the care team.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff.
• Document patient progress accurately and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand).
• Certifications: Current BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg or Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred.
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
