Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend scheduling required
• Float to JW campus as needed
• Patient assignments based on volume
• Assigned to units for direct patient respiratory care
• Operate PB980 ventilators, V60 NIV, and Fisher & Paykel high flow equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Perform bedside bronchoscopy procedures
• Maintain AIDET standards and exemplify core values at all times
• Required dress code: Navy scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, Virginia licensure to practice as a Registered Cardiopulmonary Practitioner (RCP), RRT credentialed by NBRC
• Critical care experience required

This facility is a Level 1 trauma center with 478 beds, offering a collaborative and supportive team environment with a strong family-oriented culture. The respiratory care department features a brand new fleet of mechanical ventilators and is undergoing an emergency department expansion project.
