Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Work with patient populations including geriatric, adult, pediatrics, and neonates
• Must have neonatal and pediatric experience
• Perform patient assessments and implement treatments and therapies
• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Implement and manage invasive and non-invasive equipment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
• Operate equipment including V-60/VOCSN/Hamilton, Vapotherm, and Airvo2
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• 1-2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: NBRC (CRT or RRT), BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care required
• Iowa license must be in hand at time of submission

This regional health center has been serving its community for more than 125 years, providing a wide range of health services including emergency medicine, critical care, medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, and pediatrics. The facility also offers specialty services such as cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic radiological services, wound care, pain clinic, sleep lab, and pathology. The highly trained medical staff, many of whom are board-certified, work collaboratively to provide individualized, seamless care to patients and families.
