We are seeking a skilled and dependable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Batavia, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in adult critical care and emergency settings and be confident managing advanced airway and ventilator support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care in adult critical care and emergency department settings
- Perform airway management including intubation assist and extubation
- Manage oxygen therapy and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
- Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning (ETT, NT, oral/nasal)
- Administer nebulizer treatments and T-piece therapy
- Monitor and manage ventilators including BiPAP and CPAP
- Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and assist with ventilator weaning
- Collect sputum specimens and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
