    Opportunity:

    CONTRACT - NICU RRT (754) - 13 WEEKS - 6:00P-6:00A

    Job Details:

    • 13-week contract position working night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
    • Rotating weekend schedule with 4 weekend shifts per month
    • No on-call requirements
    • Patient assignments based on volume with approximately 35-40 patients per shift
    • Work with GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC equipment
    • EMR system: Meditech
    • Perform standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers, CPT, arterial blood gases, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, and transporting patients with mechanical ventilation within the hospital
    • Must be able to handle babies less than 32 weeks gestation
    • Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting required
    • Adult critical care experience in ICU or ED preferred
    • Must be able to collaborate effectively with team members across the RT department and other hospital disciplines
    • Dress code: Olive green tops and black pants

    Facility:

    This medical center houses a respiratory therapy department located in the basement level of the building. The department operates with a team of 50 staff members, with day and night shifts each supported by 1 supervisor and 7-9 staff members. The facility utilizes modern respiratory equipment and maintains permanent positions on the unit, reflecting a strong commitment to quality patient care and staff development.
