RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Only Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) will be reviewed - CRTs will not be considered
• Work across all critical care units and floors as floating staff
• Day shift staffing includes 15-20 RRTs for adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines
• Night shift staffing includes 12-16 RRTs for adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25 patients
• Varying weekends required with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Work with equipment including GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Use Cerner as the Electronic Medical Records system
• Scrub color required: Medium Gray/Pewter
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and North Carolina Respiratory License
• Preferred certification: NRP
