Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Deliver respiratory therapy to patients across ICU, ED, and other units
- Manage ventilators and provide care for patients from newborns to seniors
- Floating to Medical/Surgical, ED, and Birthing Center as needed
- Adjust schedule to meet unit and patient care needs, including weekends and holidays
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Epic
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible to take NBRC exam
- Vermont state licensure as a respiratory care practitioner
- ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in respiratory therapy
- NICU and pediatrics experience is preferred
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
