Candidates must have a Respiratory Care Therapist credential. Candidates with CRT credentials will not be accepted. The role requires rotating shifts between days and nights, depending on department needs. We aim to limit the frequency of rotating shifts unless specifically requested. Experience managing patients from premature infants to adolescents is necessary. Knowledge of various respiratory procedures and equipment is essential, including BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation techniques. Candidates should be able to perform skills such as intubation assistance, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and care for tracheostomy patients. We prioritize a collaborative environment and expect candidates to work closely with other healthcare professionals.
