Description:
Will work through multiple campuses within a 20-25 minute driving distance.
Required to work in various treatment areas including ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, and high-risk deliveries.
Must be comfortable attending high-risk deliveries and supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU.
Common patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, Flu, Pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, Lung Cancer, Stroke, ALS, post-operative CABG, post-operative Liver/Kidney Transplant, Oral and Maxillofacial surgeries, and Radical Head/Neck surgeries requiring tracheostomy.
Experience with minor trauma, RSV, Cystic Fibrosis, and high-risk delivery neonates is necessary.
Experience with intubation of neonates, airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue and rapid response, and inhaled medication administration, including nitric oxide, is required.
Equipment used includes Servo U, Servo I, Trilogy, V60, EV300, Vapotherm HVT, Vapotherm Precision Flow, Airvo 2, Percussion Air IPV, and ResMed Lumis TX.
NICU equipment includes Oscillator and Neopuff for deliveries.
Department support includes a Director, Assistant Director, Shift Supervisors, Team Leads, RT Educators, and a Department Coordinator.
Flexibility to float throughout all campuses during the contract is required.
Will work a 36/48-hour rotation with various scheduling options available.
Weekend rotation is expected every other weekend, and on-call shifts will be required.
Holiday expectations will be assigned unless otherwise approved.
