Shifts may include evenings and/or nights. Schedule requires at least every other weekend and every other holiday, based on department needs. Floating to other facilities may be required as needed. Short-term acute care facility with a Level III trauma center. Total staffed beds: 252. Scrubs: Navy blue. Charting system used: EPIC. Adult critical care experience necessary. Assist in high-risk deliveries. Experience in bag and mask techniques required. Competency in basic EKG interpretation preferred. Familiarity with BiPAP, Bubble CPAP, and CPAP/Nasal CPAP required. Skills in drawing arterial blood gases and sputum specimen collection necessary. Experience in suctioning, both oral/nasal and ETT, is critical. Knowledge of tracheostomy care and management is essential. Caring for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics expected. Finally, candidate must meet the requirements for traveler compliance policies.
