- Must be comfortable attending high-risk deliveries
- Experience supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU
Description:
Will work through various campuses within a driving distance of 20-25 minutes.
Will serve in emergency departments, intensive care units, step down units, and medical/telemetry units.
Must be comfortable with high-risk deliveries and supporting NICU/PICU.
Common diagnoses include COPD, CHF, flu, pneumonia, COVID-19, ARDS, lung cancer, stroke, ALS, post CABG, post liver/kidney transplant, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Experience with minor trauma, RSV, cystic fibrosis, and high-risk delivery neonates is required.
Skills required include intubation of neonates, airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue, rapid response experience, and inhaled medication administration, including nitric oxide.
Equipment used includes various respiratory care devices and tools for neonates.
Flexibility to float between campuses is required.
Scheduling will consist of a 36/48 hour rotation, with management open to various scheduling options.
Call shifts may be required with a minimum notice period.
Call shifts may involve transport duties for adults and will require orientation for transport equipment and documentation procedures.
Additional voluntary call opportunities may be available.
