Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Perform vent management and monitor CPAP, BiPap, Nebs, and a-line placement
- Assist providers with intubation, vent weaning, extubation, and perform ABGs
- Collaborate with RNs and other RTs to deliver optimal patient care
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Accepting RRT or CRT credentials
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
