Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,635 to $2,835 per week in Sitka, AK

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist at time of submittal
• Flu vaccine required
• Two years experience as a certified Respiratory Therapist
• Experience with respiratory care modalities for adults, pediatrics, and neonatal patients
• Experience with pulmonary function testing, extubations, airway management, and ventilatory life support
• Experience using mechanical ventilators
• Ability to accurately interpret arterial blood gases

Assignment Details

• Varied schedule, mostly night shift with some day shifts as needed
