SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$43.20 - $50.40 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Respiratory Therapist License in good standing
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Knowledge of oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator care
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient status
- Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy
- Manage and monitor ventilator-supported patients
- Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory interventions
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and recommend modifications as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory treatments and disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with respiratory care standards, policies, and procedures
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes
