Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Conduct tracheostomy care and nitrous oxide procedures
- Implement proning techniques and manage critical care
- Operate ventilator systems and monitor PNA prevention
- Perform spontaneous breathing trials and ABG draws
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- 2 years of experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Active IL license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)
- Proficiency in EPIC systems
- Experience in critical care ventilation and procedures
