This role involves working within a dynamic healthcare setting to provide critical respiratory services to patients across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary- Manage trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, and proning techniques
- Perform ECMO and critical care interventions
- Execute ventilator associated pneumonia prevention strategies
- Conduct spontaneous breathing trials and ABG draws
- Work closely with a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring high-quality care
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary- Minimum 2 years of full lifespan care experience
- Active Illinois state license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (or CRT) certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
