Job Details
Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Facility: Maine Medical Center
Location: 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102
Department: Respiratory Therapy
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Contract Duration: 20 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Yes; approximately one call shift per month, including 2 hours for the oncoming shift
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Floating: May float throughout the facility, including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute care, and critical care
EMR: Epic
RRT credential — Required
BLS certification — Required
ACLS certification — Preferred
NRP certification — Required for NICU assignments
Experience: 3+ years experience required
Required Experience: Tertiary/teaching hospital experience and Level I trauma experience
Preferred Experience: NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience
Equipment Experience: Dräger V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy, Airvo, and Vapotherm
