This role involves working in acute care settings, providing essential respiratory therapy services. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Manage inpatient ventilators, perform ABG draws, administer CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and nebulizer treatments
- Set up nocturnal pulse oximetry and conduct blood gas analysis
- Assist with intubations and support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department respiratory needs
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Current BLS, ACLS, and PCOT certifications required
- 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred, but Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable
- Ability to work independently and manage ventilatory support
