Level IV NICU trained RT willing to do Adult floor, ICU, and Level IV NICU. Description: The position requires a registered respiratory therapist with NICU experience. Candidates must be trained in Level IV NICU. The role involves working at night and includes responsibilities on the Adult floor, ICU, and NICU. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend coverage is required as needed by the unit. The therapist will provide care to neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census will be between 10 to 15 patients. Special procedures and equipment include high-frequency oscillators and various ventilators. Applicants should have experience with NAVA, high-frequency oscillators, or high-frequency jet ventilators. This is essential for those floating in NICU. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The position is suitable for well-rounded clinicians with experience in both NICU and adult critical care settings.
