Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Potsdam, NY. This role involves working within a fully functional 24/7 in-house Respiratory Therapy department, serving a diverse patient population, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Deliver routine medication through invasive and noninvasive ventilator management
- Work independently or with another therapist to ensure compassionate care
- Perform care duties across ICU, ER, M/S, PEDS, and newborn stabilization areas
- Adapt to a changing care climate and provide COVID-19 related care when needed
- Perform occasional EKGs after hours in support of Cardiology Department
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, and NY state license mandatory
- Relevant skills: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Extubation, and more
- EPIC charting system experience
- Cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
