RRTs should be comfortable with a variety of respiratory modalities and procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing ventilators and assisting with critical care interventions. Floating within the hospital is required as needed. Weekend coverage will be based on unit needs and flexibility is necessary. Interdisciplinary collaboration with various services such as radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams is expected.
