Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years preferred (including one year at a large Level 1 Trauma, Academic Medical Center) License: NE State License in hand preferred Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CRT required, RRT preferred Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience required; Epic charting experience preferred; 100% nicotine-free facility Description: Licensing takes 6-8 weeks, start date will be adjusted accordingly. No overtime until after 48 hours. Three years of experience preferred. Out of the three years of required experience, candidates must have at least one year in a large Level 1 Trauma, Academic Medical Center. First-time travelers accepted. Level 1 Trauma experience is required. Epic charting experience is preferred. Candidates must be 100% nicotine-free. Previous experience in a Level IV NICU and Level 1 Trauma PICU is preferred. Special procedures and unit details may include high-risk deliveries and various critical care techniques. Candidates must have skills in adult critical care, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. All contracts will end on a Sunday with a work week from Monday to Sunday. Licensing may take up to 8 weeks. No local candidates accepted. First-time travelers not accepted. Documentation is required in a timely manner. This is a 100% nicotine-free facility.
