Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting travel assignment in Therapy, OH. This role involves performing respiratory therapy in all settings within the Health Center, focused on delivering essential treatments such as aerosol therapy, airway clearance, and ventilator management. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist- Perform patient assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of care
- Provide basic respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and airway clearance
- Execute critical respiratory care such as Endotracheal intubation and ventilator management
- Assess learning needs of patients and/or their families and provide relevant education
- Respond to Code-Blues, Code-Pinks, and trauma teams
- Document care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Communicate openly with all healthcare team members
- Participate in process improvement activities
- Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on blood gas analyzers
Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist- Associate's Degree in Applied Science with a major in respiratory care
- Clinical experience during respiratory care training
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License issued by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- NRP certification
