Shifts: Nights - 6:00 PM-6:00 AM & 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

This role requires expertise in caring for critical, non-critical, and chronically ill patients, including adults, pediatrics, and neonates, within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Emergency response, including Code Blue and White
• Airway management and suctioning
• Delivery of aerosolized drugs
• Ventilator management
• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care plans
• Management of airway and support devices
• Perform diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures
• Blood gas and EKG analysis
• Documentation and equipment maintenance
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys
• Advanced practice skills as required

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RT or RCP License in state of employment required
• BLS certification via AHA
• ACLS and PALS required via AHA
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
• Adult ICU experience necessary
• CRT's may be accepted if possessing critical care experience
