Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Perform advanced respiratory procedures for adults and NICU/pediatric patients
- Manage and operate equipment such as GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
- Ensure patient safety and promote effective respiratory therapy practices
- Support critical care units with floating responsibilities as needed
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
