Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,268 to $2,349 per week in Hilo, HI

Key Responsibilities • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions • Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, including adjusting settings based on patient response • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results to guide therapy • Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and bronchopulmonary hygiene treatments • Assist with intubation, extubation, and airway management procedures • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update respiratory care plans • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, medications, and home care techniques ✅ Requirements • Active HI RT license • BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT (preferred), NRP (preferred) certifications • 2+ years of Respiratory Therapist experience • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC required Pay Pay range: $2,268 to $2,349 per week. Travel RT package: up to $2,349/week (36 hours) = $39/hour taxable + up to $945/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $63/hour fully taxable ($2,268/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
