Responsibilities include performing procedures such as extubation, intubation assistance, and nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning. You will manage tracheostomy care and utilize various devices including bag and mask, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP. The position requires troubleshooting high pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Candidates should have experience with specific ventilator models and be comfortable in fast-paced environments. Weekend coverage will be required at least every other weekend. Candidates will not be required to float to other hospitals unless otherwise agreed upon. Knowledge of the charting system is necessary. References will be required as part of the hiring process.
