Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years pediatric, neonate, and infant experience License: RRT certification must be in hand at the time of start Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: RRT certification Description: This position involves working in a Level 4 NICU setting. The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Holiday rotation is required. Every other weekend is also required. No on-call duty is expected. Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs, depending on experience. Epic charting experience is preferred but not mandatory. Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience are essential for this role. The work environment is a fast-paced pediatric critical care unit. Candidates must be willing to accommodate block scheduling, subject to prior approval. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be provided at the time of submission. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, assignments may change based on emergency response needs. During this period, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year, with peak activity in August and September. Candidates must complete all required compliance processes promptly. All labs must be completed within the specified timeframe before the starting date. Modules are required prior to the start date and are non-billable.
