Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care in a Level 1 Trauma Center with state-of-the-art facilities. The assignment is for 5 weeks with a possibility of extension. Both RRT and CRT candidates will be considered, provided they meet the necessary experience requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Confirms physician order, assesses for appropriateness and ensures quality patient care.
- Explains treatment procedures to patient and addresses any concerns or questions.
- Performs respiratory/pulmonary procedures per department policy or protocol.
- Participates in patient care teams and quality improvement programs.
- Attends in-services, meetings and conferences to maintain proficiency.
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Registry Eligible
- Relevant experience with ventilators and respiratory equipment
- Proficiency in current Respiratory Care techniques and procedures as mandated by regulatory agencies
