Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Perform adult critical care procedures and emergency department services
- Assist with intubation and extubation
- Provide tracheostomy care and management
- Conduct nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
- Collect sputum specimens for analysis
- Manage high flow nasal cannula and CPAP/BiPAP devices
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- BLS and RRT certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant setting
- Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred
