Description

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Active state license required prior to submission Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, CRT preferred Must-Have: High School Diploma and College Diploma or transcripts required Previous travel experience preferred Description: Weekends required. 3x12-hour shifts (night shift). Floating between campuses may be required. Patient ratio is not applicable. Candidate must have access to GE Ventilators. The role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients. Common patient diagnoses include COPD, asthma, and cancer. The work will be performed on Med/Surg floors and PCUs. Special equipment preferred includes Hamilton ventilators. Skills required include adult critical care, aerosol setup, and tracheostomy management. Knowledge of interpreting arterial blood gases is required. Weaning from mechanical ventilation is a part of the role. Travelers may need to float to other locations at the facility’s discretion. Team members will be required to complete fingerprinting as part of the compliance process. Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor. Cooperation with credentialing is essential to avoid delays.
