Key Responsibilities of the NICU Respiratory Therapist- Perform standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers, CPT, and arterial blood gases
- Manage ventilators and inhaled nitric oxide treatments
- Assist in bronchoscopies and intubations
- Provide respiratory support during transports within the hospital
Requirements of the NICU Respiratory Therapist- Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred adult critical care experience in ICU or ED
