Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. License: Active state license required to apply. Certifications: BLS and RRT required. Must-Have: - Experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department. - Skills in airway management devices and suctioning such as endotracheal tube placement and suctioning. - Experience with nebulizer techniques and oxygen therapy methods. - Proficient in ventilator management, including BiPAP and CPAP systems. - Experience using Cerner charting system. Description: The position requires a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work in a clinical setting. This role involves providing respiratory therapy and airway management for adult patients. The therapist will assist in intubation and extubation processes. Knowledge and experience with various oxygen delivery systems are essential. Patient ratios will vary, with a typical daily caseload expected. A commitment to working every other weekend is required. On-call duties may be necessary depending on departmental needs. The therapist should be prepared to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Experience in teaching hospitals and trauma units is preferred. Candidates with a background in both community and academic settings will be considered favorably. Compliance with health and safety protocols is essential throughout the assignment.
