Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required in a critical care setting. License: Valid state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT (PALS and NRP preferred if applicable). Must-Have: - Experience covering Intensive Care Units (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), Med-Surg (MS), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). - Trauma Level II experience preferred. - Ventilator management and troubleshooting experience required. Description: Looking for a Night shift RRT for an acute care environment. The therapist will cover ICU, ED, MS, and NICU if experienced. Must be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. The department typically has 7-10 therapists based on patient census. Familiarity with various respiratory therapies and equipment is essential. Experience with Bipap, High-Flow, and mechanical ventilation is required. Candidates should be comfortable working with neonates, adults, and geriatrics. Knowledge of arterial blood gas interpretation is a must. Experience with charting systems, specifically with EPIC, is required. Candidates should possess skills in airway management and suctioning. Must have understanding of respiratory medications and their administration. Flexibility and the ability to float to different departments may be necessary based on the facility's needs. All certifications must be current and obtained through recognized organizations. It is important to maintain patient care standards and provide quality treatment.
