Experience with interpretation of arterial blood gases is essential. Candidates must be proficient in performing tracheostomy care and management, extubation, and troubleshooting mechanical ventilation issues. Experience with charting systems is required. Candidates should possess knowledge of various respiratory medications and therapies. Allowances for floating may be requested based on facility needs. All must have specialty experience within the last year.
