Description

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
  • Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
  • One year experience as an RRT
  • BLS certification
  • 3+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience
  • RRT credential required
  • NRP certification required for NICU
  • Experience in a tertiary teaching hospital required
  • Level 1 trauma experience required
  • Experience with Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm required
  • Experience in NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute and critical care required


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 1900-0700
  • Every other weekend required
  • Call rotation required, approximately one call shift per month
  • 2 hours of call for the oncoming shift
  • Float to other patient care areas required, including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute and critical care
