Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,955 per week in Athens, GA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years; first timers not accepted License: State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Experience with ventilator management, medicated aerosol treatments - Bipap management - Open heart procedures, intubation, ABG draws and analysis - Chest Physiotherapy (CPT), Nitric Oxide management, COVID management Description: We are a 24/7 department with a team of therapists working across multiple floors, including an ICU and a NICU unit. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

The patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics. Therapists will engage in ventilator management, performing medication aerosol treatments, and utilizing BiPAP. Responsibilities include managing intubation, performing arterial blood gas draws, and analyzing results. Experience with equipment such as Epic, Servo I, GE, Hamilton, and PB840 is required. Floating within the facility may be required as needed. All therapists will be expected to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work that holiday. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Full compliance is required to start on time.
