Proficient EMR charting is required. Description: The purpose of this unit profile is to provide an understanding of the unit. The unit has 160 beds and a staff of 32. Day shift staff requirements include a minimum of 5-6 staff. Night shift staff requirements include a minimum of 4-4.5 staff. Patient ratios are based on a specific RVU System. The unit is equipped with various types of equipment, including vents, bipaps, and CPAPs. Typical hiring skills include the ability to manage a high acuity workload. The ideal candidate should have a willingness to assist with higher loads and higher acuity patients. Self-motivation and independence are essential traits.
