Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a NICU setting. Experience with high-risk deliveries is required. Candidates should be proficient in umbilical cord gases. Knowledge of various respiratory therapies and interventions is essential. Familiarity with Draeger and Servo I is mandatory. The role includes tasks such as pulmonary toileting and ABG interpretation. Basic EKG skills and experience with BiPAP and CPAP are necessary. Trach collar management and surfactant administration skills are essential. The position may require floating within the facility and possibly to a sister campus. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and major holidays as needed. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the onboarding may be delayed. All requirements must be met prior to the start of the assignment.
