Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Deliver therapeutic respiratory care to critically ill and emergency department patients
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to optimize patient care plans
- Utilize critical thinking skills to address complex medical situations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide patient education and support
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain within 180 days)
- Bachelor's or Associate in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills
