Patient Assessment
Assess patients with breathing difficulties and perform respiratory evaluations.
Analyze blood and sputum samples and conduct lung capacity tests.
Treatment Administration
Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
Monitor patient responses and adjust respiratory care according to prescribed treatment plans.
Life Support and Ventilation
Set up, operate, and manage mechanical ventilators for patients requiring breathing support.
Emergency Response
Provide emergency respiratory care, artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and CPR as required.
Documentation and Care Coordination
Maintain accurate patient records.
Consult with physicians regarding treatment plans and assist with discharge planning.
Patient and Family Education
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, disease management, and the use of home respiratory equipment.
