Upon starting, the unit manager may assign roles as part of an emergency team. This may include staying at the facility during emergencies or being part of a relief team. Certifications accepted are RRT and CRT. Candidates must hold BLS and ACLS certifications. The patient population is primarily adults. This position predominantly involves night shifts, with occasional day shifts required. Weekend coverage is expected every other weekend. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Patient care experience includes adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. Specific respiratory skills are essential, including aerosol setup, intubation assistance, and trach care. Understanding of arterial blood gas interpretation and mechanical ventilation is necessary. Following policies regarding traveling compliance is mandatory.
