Key Responsibilities of the NICU Respiratory Therapist- Admit and manage vented patients in Level 4 NICU independently
- Set up and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation devices including Bubble CPAP and High-flow therapy
- Administer surfactant and manage inhaled nitric oxide therapy
- Attend high-risk deliveries and manage high frequency ventilation (HFOV and HFJV)
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements of the NICU Respiratory Therapist- 1+ year Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience
- PALS certification
