Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - 50-mile radius restriction - Previous charge experience required - Experience with patient ratios - Charting experience preferred, especially with Meditech Description: Immediate start date available. RRT position requires 2 years of experience. State license is mandatory. NRP certification is required. Candidates must meet a 50-mile radius restriction. Background or licensure issues will not be accepted. COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory, with medical and religious exemptions allowed. Flu vaccine is also required, with medical and religious exemptions permitted. Experience with adult critical care is essential. Candidates should be familiar with aerosol setups, intubation, and ventilation techniques. Skills in respiratory therapy are necessary, including understanding respiratory distress syndrome and managing tracheostomy care. Willingness to float within the facility is required. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends and holidays as part of rotation. This role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including neonates and geriatrics. Compliance with facility policies is mandatory.
