Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: RRT Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Experience with Ventilator management - Experience with medicated aerosol treatments - Experience with Bipap management - Experience with Open Heart procedures - Experience with intubation - Experience with ABG draws and analysis Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy. First-time travelers will not be accepted. Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics. The role involves ventilator management and medicated aerosol treatments. Candidates must be proficient in Bipap management, intubation, ABG draws, and analysis. Position requires knowledge of CPT, Nitric, and Covid management. The department operates 24/7 with coverage across all hospital floors, including ICU and trauma units. Required experience with electronic health records systems. Scrub colors should not be all red or all navy blue. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and must work weekends every other weekend unless specified otherwise. If assigned to work during major holidays, candidates are expected to work the designated holidays. Full compliance is required for timely onboarding. Travel experience is mandatory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in adult critical care practices.
