Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,808 to $2,008 per week in Montgomery, AL

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The city is home to the Rosa Parks Museum and the Civil Rights Memorial Center, both located downtown, and Riverfront Park sits along the Alabama River with walking paths and an amphitheater.

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• At least 2 years of experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU
• Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR
• Must be able to work independently in a Level III NICU

Assignment Details

• 36 hours per week
• Shift hours: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• Voluntary call
• May float to like units or patient locations
• NICU therapists will also work with adult patients
• Orientation includes 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit for travelers new to the facility or returning after 1 year or more away
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
