Must-Have:
Must have recent critical care experience.
RRT only, no CRT.
Must be able to float to all areas of the facility, including labor and delivery.
No first-timers accepted.
All certifications must be in hand prior to start.
No local candidates accepted, must be non-local.
Description:
This position requires a Respiratory Therapist specializing in critical care.
The shift involves working nights with a holiday rotation and every other weekend.
Floating to various areas within the healthcare facility is a requirement.
The therapist will encounter diverse patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily responsibilities will include assisting with airway management, mechanical ventilation, and the interpretation of arterial blood gases.
Strong knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula is essential.
The role will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
