Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12, Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required at time of start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) required at time of start Must-Have: Recent critical care experience required RRT candidates only Description: This position is for a Respiratory Therapist with experience in critical care. The shift will rotate with holidays and includes every other weekend. The therapist may be required to float to different areas of the facility as needed. Candidates must have current certifications and licenses in hand at the time of starting. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. The respiratory therapist will provide care to a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have experience with emergency procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in high-risk deliveries. All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start date to ensure compliance and readiness for employment. This role includes a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
