Travelers are integrated into the core team and are expected to participate in rounds, respond to codes, and manage ventilators independently. Orientation typically lasts 2 to 3 shifts. Candidates should be independent, flexible, dependable, and team-oriented. Comfort floating between different patient populations and units is essential.
